What we do

We have experiences of a range of high level assignments across the not for profit, public & private sectors. Reflecting on our individual and collective histories, we estimate that our experiences split 40/60 between the not for profit and the private sectors. That is, we believe, one of our unique distinctions as consultants.

We help clients address the challenges of improving organisational effectiveness, focusing particularly on Boards and Executive Teams. We therefore work on projects involving:

  • Governance

  • Leadership, teams & people
  • Performance Improvement
  • Organisation Effectiveness & Change Management
  • Coaching

We usually work with the Trustee Boards and Executive Teams to help them address issues and improve relationships between them. This can often mean working on an individual coaching basis with the Chair or the Chief Executive (but not both at the same time). We also organise and facilitate workshops between the two groups or with the executive (and other) teams when they want to improve their effectiveness and performance, collectively as well as individually.

We work with clients to help them make the right connections between their strategies and their operational activities. We understand the fundamental issues of corporate governance – by which we mean the hearts and minds and the relationships. We do not get involved with the legal structures. We know what is important in leading, managing and communicating with people both within organisations and externally and working on a partnership basis with different stakeholders.

  • Opportunities for increased effectiveness for umbrella bodies and partnerships.
